Twinkle Khanna remembers dad Rajesh Khanna on birth anniversary, pens emotional note

Today, Twinkle Khanna celebrates her birthday. The actress-turned-writer’s birthday coincides with her father and late actor Rajesh Khanna’s birth anniversary. Earlier today, the ‘Dil Tera Diwana’ actress penned a note remembering him.

The ‘Mela’ actress shared a priceless childhood picture with her late father and captioned the post as: “He always said I was the best present he could have ever received, as I tumbled feet first into the world on his birthday. A little star looking up at the biggest one in the galaxy. It’s our day together, now and forever.”

As soon as Twinkle shared the post, Manish Malhotra commented ”Happy birthday beautiful Tina ?”, Ayesha Shroff, ”Happy birthday Tina ❤️❤️❤️❤️”. Farah Khan Ali wrote, ”I remember you just like this. Happy birthday Tina ❤️❤️❤️,” and Sikander Kher wrote: “Happy birthday Tina ❤️”

Rajesh Khanna passed away on 18 July 2012, at his bungalow, Aashirwad, in Mumbai. According to the sources his health had been deteriorating since July 2011 as he was diagnosed with cancer.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has flown to the Maldives with his wife and daughter to celebrate the actress’s birthday followed by the New Year celebrations. The ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor also showered birthday love to Twinkle on her birthday and wrote: “With you by my side, even the blues are easy to take in my stride… Happy birthday Tina”.
