Twinkle Khanna shares an UNSEEN pic with late father Rajesh Khanna on his 10th death anniversary

Veteran star Rajesh Khanna was one of the most handsome and popular actors of the 80s and 90s. He has delivered several hits like Anand, Amar Prem, Aradhana, Kati Patang and many more. The actor passed away on 18 July 2012, leaving millions in grief. July 18 commemorates his 10th death anniversary and to mark this day, actor Twinkle Khanna took to her Instagram account and dropped an unseen pic with her late father Rajesh Khanna.

The monochrome picture has a young Twinkle Khanna hugging her father from behind. Remembering him on his 10th death anniversary, the Mela actor says, “10 years. He is still here. In all our hearts.” Twinkle’s Barsaat actor Bobby Deol dropped heart emojis in the comment section. Even Manish Malhotra, Athiya Shetty, Tisca Chopra, Riteish Deshmukh and many others have also left heart emoticons on the post.

Meanwhile, at the peak of his career that Kaka, as he was fondly known, decided to get married to a then 16-year-old Dimple Kapadia who was shooting for Bobby. Rajesh and Dimple have two daughters – Twinkle and Rinke Khanna.

In an old chat with Khalid Mohamed, Dimple Kapadia had said that Rajesh Khanna was a “misunderstood” man. “Kaka (Rajesh Khanna) has been consistently misunderstood. He’s a wonderful guy. I was far too young and impetuous when we married. We may have separated, but I still have tremendous regard and love for him. So don’t you dare try to extract any nasty statements from me. Kaka’s superstardom had to be experienced to be believed,” she said. 

Furthermore, Dimple had also explained that like thousands of other women across the country, she too, was in awe of him. “I used to like Kaka (Rajesh Khanna), his movies and his romantic image were overpowering. I believe in romance, and that’s a major problem with me. I don’t function at a normal level, I see too much into things even when they are not there. I get carried away,” she said.
