Twinkle Khanna to take legal action on being threatened by a navy officer

Khiladi Akshay Kumar and his author-filmmaker wife Twinkle Khanna were recently trolled for auctioning the actor’s naval uniform from the film ‘Rustom’. The proceeds from which would go to “the cause of animal rescue and welfare”. A naval officer even threatened the actress.

“You touch our honour and we will give you a bloody nose,” a navy officer warned Twinkle Khanna. The Producer-author and entrepreneur said she believes in taking legal action instead of retaliating with “violent threat” online. Lt Col Sandeep Ahlawat,called Khanna’s idea of auctioning the costume “as sick as your funnybones jokes/book/blog”.

Soon Twinkle responded to his threat with a tweet,

As a society do we really think it’s all right to threaten a woman with bodily harm for trying to raise funds for a charity by auctioning a uniform used in a movie,a piece of film memorabilia ? I will not retaliate with violent threats but by taking legal action! #JaiHind https://t.co/OF7e5lTHel
