Twinkle Khanna wants a freshly wrapped Ranveer Singh as her anniversary gift from hubby Akshay

Actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna and her superstar husband Akshay Kumar are celebrating 18 years of togetherness today. Yes, it’s their marriage anniversary and as expected, Mrs Funnybones had a very lovely and witty way to mark the occasion.

Taking to the photo-sharing site Instagram, Twinkle shared a picture of her hubby Akshay receiving a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek from handsome hunk Ranveer Singh. Now you must be wondering why did she share this picture on their anniversary? Well, Twinkle wrote alongside the picture that she wanted a ‘freshly-wrapped’ Ranveer Singh as her anniversary gift but her hubby kept all the hugs (from Ranveer) to himself.

Last night, the couple celebrated their anniversary along with their good friend actor Bobby Deol and his wife Tania Deol, Sunny and Anu Dewan. They all went out for a dinner date in a suburban restaurant.

After being engaged twice, Twinkle and Akshay tied the knot on January 17, 2001. The couple is blessed with a son Aarav and daughter Nitara. In their eighteen years long marriage, Akshay and Twinkle have come a long way as a couple. They might have not worked together on-screen, but off-screen they continue to support each other in their respective endeavours. Twinkle even ventured into production with ‘Pad Man’ which starred hubby Akshay in the lead role.

Now coming back to Twinkle’s anniversary gift, we wonder what Akshay Kumar has to say now.
