The trailer of Farhan Akhtar-starrer ‘Lucknow Central’ is out, and the intriguing content has enthralled many. The story of a few prisoners who are there on account of false charges, and how they escape using music and form a band, is the crux of the story. With an ensemble cast of talented actors like Farhan Akhtar, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy, Rajesh Sharma, Diana Penty and more, ‘Lucknow Central’ surely seems to be a powerpacked movie.
So, today, the actors were in no serious mood as they started a conversation on Twitter, wherein they were speaking to each other as the characters they are playing in the movie. Started by Deepak Dobriyal, the conversation soon turned hilarious. (Also Watch: ‘Lucknow Central’: Farhan Akhtar nails it with his act in this engaging trailer)
Here’s how the conversation went between Victor (Deepak Dobriyal), Kisan (Farhan Akhtar), and ‘jailor saab'(Ronit Roy).
Interesting, isn’t it? The movie is based on true incidents and narrates the journey of Kishen Mohan Girhotra, played by Akhtar, who gets arrested for false murder charges. How he survives a place like Lucknow Central, the accusations, and escapes to become a music sensation that he wants to be, with the help of a few other inmates, forms the crux of the story.
The film also features Diana Penty in the role of Gayatri Kashyap, a journalist who helps these inmates in their plan.
Apart from ‘Lucknow Central’, it is being said that Farhan is all set to produce a biopic on Paralympian Deepa Malik, along with Ritesh Sidhwani. Though Sidhwani has announced the same, but we yet have to see as to which actress will be cast in the role. Also, will there be a new face, or an existing talent will be brought on board. Only time will tell.
Anyway, coming back to ‘Lucknow Central’, the movie has been directed by Ranjit Tiwari, and will be hitting the screens on September 15, this year.
