Troll calls Vikrant Massey ‘misogynist’ after he writes ‘Dainty Little Princesses’ in a tweet; actor hits back with a sarcastic apology

Vikrant Massey received criticism on Twitter after he tweeted about the postponement of Parliament session till 2021. It so happened that in his tweet, Vikrant called parliament members ‘Dainty little princesses’ after which he was called ‘misogynist’.

He tweeted, “We can have massive election rallies, a brief Monsoon session during the peak, but no Winter session…Why? Cos we’re in the middle of a pandemic. Dainty little princesses!!!,” to which a Twitter user slammed him tweeting, “You could condemn this government’s cowardice and not be a misogynist at the same time. Try that, it’s not that difficult.”

Vikrant replied back questioning the user, “Misogyny??? Cos I called them dainty princesses? Like seriously? I guess we can calm a bit down generally and get the gist of what I’m saying.”

In another tweet, he wrote, “Guys! Just take it easy. That is not what I meant. I would never. Apologies if offended anybody. At the same time, thank you for restoring my belief that Twitter is a shit-hole. Thank you. Have a good evening.”

In a sarcastic tone, he also apologised via another tweet saying it was never his ‘intention’. Also, he called Twitter a ‘shit-hole’.
