Twitterati troll Anupam Kher for his U-Turn on Padma Awards

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher who has been bestowed the prestigious Padma Bhushan was trolled by the Twitterati. The actor had forgotten that a long time back he had dissed the awards by tweeting his displeasure towards the credibility of various awards including the National Awards and Padma Awards.

Anupam had tweeted,

AWARDS in our country have become a mockery of our system.There is NO authenticity left in any one of them.B it films, National or now PADMA

The actor completely changed his stance when it was announced that this year he is also in the list of Padma Bhushan awardees. Expressing his delight on being conferred the award he had tweeted,

Happy, Humbled & Honoured to share that i have been awarded The PADMA BHUSHAN by the Govt. of India. Greatest news of my life:) #JaiHind

Soon he was being trolled on Twitter for his contradictory statements. When he was made aware of the being trolled on social network an unfazed Anupam had a word for his haters. He tweeted,

Sunn raha hoon hai aaj bazaar mein Burnol bahut zoro shoro se bik raha hai.
