‘Udta Punjab’ producer Madhu Mantena summoned by NCB in drug-related probe

Over the last few days, several Bollywood celebs’ name has cropped in the drug probe related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is currently interrogating Sushan’s ex-manager Shruti Modi and taken manager Jaya Saha.

According to the latest report NCB has also summoned filmmaker Madhu Mantena today. Reportedly, his name cropped up when NCB grilled Jaya.

According to an ANI report, Madhu has been summoned today by NCB in connection with the drug-related probe that emerged from Sushant’s death case. Madhu is a well-known producer, who was also part of the now-defunct Phantom Films. Madhu is expected to reach the NCB office by 11 am today.

Earlier NCB had also summoned Bollywood talent agency KWAN Agency’s CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar for questioning. Also, Deepika Padukone’s name has cropped up in the probe after her alleged WhatsApp chats with her manager Karishma Prakash surfaced. Karishma is also an employee of KWAN.

Apart from Madhu and Deepika, several other celebs like Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh’s name has also cropped up during the interrogation. Apparently, Sara and Shraddha too will be summoned today.
