Unbelievable! “Slap Aamir Khan, get 1 lakh” says Shivsena

Did we just prove Aamir Khan right, by coming out with our aggressive reactions? Promiment figures of Bollywood as well as common people have come out with either agreement or disagreement with Aamir’s statement on intolerance, but slap someone because you don;t like what he said? Doesn’t that seem a bit too heavy for democracy?

The Punjab unit of Shivsena has announced reward of 1 lakh for each slap someone throws at Aamir. The actor is presently in Punjab, busy shooting for his next film ‘Dangal’. Rajeev Tandon, Punjab chairman, Shiv Sena said “We give an opportunity to the manager and employees of the hotel and also the team of his film to slap Aamir and get Rs 1 lakh from us. The courageous and patriotic persons who will slap Aamir Khan in Ludhiana will get Rs 1 lakh reward per slap from us.”.

Securities were strengthened since the moment the Fahrenheit of debate started rising up.

“We have complete coordination with the police and they are being updated on the situation. The hotel employees have also been told to remain extra vigilant to avoid any suspicious person reaching near Aamir’s room. The actor was not in the hotel when the protest took place. The number of police personnel at the hotel have been increased from four to eight.”- said Manav Inder Singh Guram, manager, marketing and communications, MBD Group
