After their registered wedding in Mumbai on January 3rd, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are all set for their grand, traditional wedding in Udaipur. The festivities started with the mehendi ceremony and the first photo of the couple from the event was out yesterday. Now, more unseen pics of Ira Khan with mom Reena Dutta and husband Nupur Shikhare from the Mehendi ceremony have surfaced online.

Ira Khan’s makeup artist Coleen Khan Affonso shared a couple of pictures from the mehendi ceremony. In the first picture, we can see the bride kissing her mother Reena Dutta. Both the mother-daughter duo look gorgeous in traditional attire. The bride wore an Ivory white gown with a halter neck while her mother wore a beige-colored saree with golden designs on it and a pink border. In the next picture, Ira poses with her hubby Nupur Shikhare.

About Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare Udaipur’s wedding

Ira and Nupur’s traditional wedding festivities are taking place at Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur. The family including Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao, Azad Rao, and Junaid Khan arrived on 7^th January. Ira also shared her wedding itinerary. It began with a welcome dinner on the 7^th. And followed by Mehendi ceremony and a pajama party on the 8th of January. The sangeet ceremony will be held on the 9th ahead of which a football tournament was organised. The traditional ceremony, where the couple will exchange vows once again, is set for the 10th. There will also be a grand reception in Mumbai on 13th January which will be attended by many Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani, Ashutosh Gowarikar and Juhi Chawla, among many others.

For those unversed, Aamir’s daughter Ira is a mental health advocate by profession. While Nupur is a celebrity fitness trainer who often shares related posts on social media. The couple met each other during the pandemic and Nupur officially proposed Ira in September 2022 in Italy. The got engaged in November 2022.
