Vicky Kaushal who played the lead role in Aditya Dhar’s ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ took everyone’s breath away by his stellar performance. The film went on to create several records too. Yesterday, while addressing the media at an event, the actor shared his feelings on the ghastly Pulwama tragedy.
“It feels like a personal loss. A strong befitting answer must be given to terrorism. As a nation, we should come together & give the required support to the families of the martyrs, emotionally & financially. Our prayers are with them,” said the ‘Masaan’ actor.

Kaushal further added, “It is a great loss of human lives. If in any possible way, we can support the family of martyrs, it would be a great contribution from our end, as a society. The whole incident should not be forgiven and forgotten”
The actor shared his views on the attacks as he attended the final day of Act Fest, organised by Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) and the 48 Hour Film Project. Earlier Vicky had even shared his feelings on a micro-blogging site saying, “Deeply saddened and shocked to hear the news of the terror attack in #Pulwama. My heart goes out to the families of the brave CRPF soldiers we lost today and praying for the speedy recovery of those injured.”
After reading his comments several netizens asked the actor to make another film on the lines of ‘Uri’ and name it ‘Pulwama: The Surgical Strike’.
Several Bollywood celebs have condemned the deadly attacks that claimed the lives of around 40 CRPF soldiers.
