Urmila Matondkar buys new office worth over Rs 3 crore weeks after joining Shiv Sena; Kangana Ranaut takes a dig at her

After her brief stint in Congress, actress-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar joined Shiv Sena recently. As per the latest reports, Urmila has now bought new office space in Mumbai’s plush suburban area. And actress Kangana Ranaut wasted no time in taking a dig at Urmila.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Urmila bought a property that spans a little over a 1000 square feet. Its located on the Linking Road in Khar West. Reportedly the property cost the ‘Rangeela’ actress around Rs 3.75 crore. She bought the office on the sixth floor of the building from a businessman. The deal was finalised in the last month.

Previously, after joining Shiv Sena, Urmila had told PTI, “My intention is to become a people’s leader, like I have been a people-made film star. I don’t want to become a leader who just sits in AC rooms and tweets…I know what I have to do and how to do and I will keep learning.”

Now taking a dig at Urmila was none other than Kangana. The ‘Queen’ actress took to her Twitter handle and targeting Urmila she wrote, “Dear @UrmilaMatondkar ji maine jo khud ki mehnat se ghar banaye woh bhi Congress tod rahi hai, sach mein BJP ko khush karke mere haath sirf 25-30 cases he lage hain, kash main bhi aapki tarah samajhdar hoti toh Congress ko khush karti, kitni bevakoof hoon main, nahin?””

Since last year, both Kangana and Urmila have been taking pot-shots at each other. From calling each other ‘rudali’ to ‘soft porn actor’, these two grabbed headlines for all the wrong reasons. And going by Kangana’s recent jibe looks like it’s going to continue this year as well.
