Urmila Matondkar is all set to make her comeback with Irrfan Khan-starrer ‘Raita’

The gorgeous actress Urmila Matondkar was last in the news for her marriage with Kashmiri businessman Mohsin Akhtar Mir. They had tied the knot last year. Later, Urmila’s stunning debut on Instagram made her fans happy. And today, there’s yet another good news for all the 90s’ movie buffs out there. The ‘Rangeela’ actress is all set to be back on silver screen with a special song in actor Irrfan Khan and Kirti Kulhari-starrer ‘Raita’. And according to a leading tabloid, the actress has already started rehearsing for the song last week.

Confirming this news, director Abhinay Deo said, “We wanted a great performer with a diva-like aura and Urmila fit the bill. She has been extremely choosy about offers and we are excited that she agreed to be a part of our film. Further, Abhinay added, “I had met her immediately after the release of ‘Masoom’ but we lost touch and met again at a common friend’s residence years later. We have always wanted to work together and I am happy it’s happening for ‘Raita’.” [sic]

“She will feature in a never-seen-before avatar. Irrfan and Kirti aren’t a part of the song but Pradhuman Singh, who has also written the dialogues, and Anuja Sathe, will share the screen with her,” added the ‘Delhi Belly’ director while he was talking about the special song.

The song is composed by Amit Trivedi. Talking about the film, it is produced by T-Series and RDP Motion Pictures.

Well, we are damn excited after hearing this news and are certainly looking forward to see Urmila back on the big screen.
