If you think that celebrities enjoy all things glamorous, then wait, as they do pay a huge price for being a well-known face in the industry. And the latest is, ‘Hate Story 4’ actress, Urvashi Rautela whose identity has been misused. The actress who was at an event in Mumbai, was in a state of shock to know that a fake Aadhar card had been used to book a room in a five star hotel, in her name.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the used Aadhar card neither belonged to the actress, nor did she make any bookings at the said five star hotel in Mumbai. However, when a hotel employee approached Urvashi with regards to the same, the actress sought the help of police and lodged a complaint. As a police source revealed to the tabloid, “Around 10:30 pm on Tuesday, a hotel employee told her that a room was booked in her name. She denied having done so and immediately went through the hotel’s booking details. It was found that the booking was done online”.

Further, when the actress shared the whole incident with the police, they registered a case under section 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) and a few other relevant sections of the IT act. Paramjit Singh Dahiya, DCP (Zone 9) confirmed to Mumbai Mirror that an FIR has been registered, while another police official added, “Investigators are also scanning the IP address records to find from where the booking was done.”
