In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Urvashi Rautela addressed the negative comments. When confronted about being called “beauty without brains,” she noted, “The thing is… even the Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi ji, and my most favourite superstars, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, are not spared by people. So, you tell me, what can be done about this?”

Her remarks did not resonate well with Reddit users. One user commented, “No way she compared herself to greats like Modi ji, SRK, and Salman.” Another added, “She is delusional but iconic at the same time,” while a third remarked, “How delusional can someone be?”

What happened to Saif Ali Khan?

While discussing the attack on Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra residence, Urvashi expressed her sorrow, stating, “It is very unfortunate. Now, Daaku Maharaaj has crossed ₹105 crore at the box office, and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex, while my father gifted me this mini watch on my finger. However, we don’t feel confident wearing these items openly due to the insecurity of being attacked. Whatever happened was very unfortunate.”

Urvashi’s apology

The following day, Urvashi shared an apology on Instagram, which she later deleted. In an interview with Filmfare, she explained that the incident occurred at 4 a.m. and her interviews were scheduled for 8 a.m., leaving her unaware of the situation’s severity. She mentioned being informed upon waking that someone had been hurt, but she did not know the extent of the injuries. Expressing her heartfelt concern, she reiterated her support for the affected individuals. Furthermore, she clarified that her comments about her film, Daaku Maharaaj, were meant to celebrate its success, which was the context of her interviews.
