Vaani Kapoor talks about ‘great chemistry’ with Ranbir Kapoor in Shamshera

Vaani Kapoor is all set to collaborate with Ranbir Kapoor for the first-ever time in the period action drama film, Shamshera, which also stars Sanjay Dutt in the lead. Now, the Befikre actress opened up on working with Ranbir. She also talked about their on-screen chemistry.

Talking to Mid-Day, the actress stated that she and Ranbir have ‘great’ chemistry on-screen. “We have been told that we have great chemistry, but I hope that audiences too feel the same when they see us. We have worked really hard to bring something new to the table and as actors, we only want to entertain everyone to the fullest with Shamshera.”

The Shuddh Desi Romance actress also lauded Ranbir Kapoor’s work ethic. She stated that Ranbir is a pleasure to work as he adds a lot of work ethic to the table. Further, calling him a selfless actor, she added: “He is also a selfless actor who wants to creatively collaborate so that each scene turns out to be the best.” Vaani also shared she had a fun time on the sets of Shamshera.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, the makers had shared the first glimpse of Shamshera. They also revealed the details of the new film in a minute-long black-and-white video. Sharing the teaser, YRF shared in the caption: “A legend will rise on 22nd July. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu”

Shamshera is scheduled to release theatrically on 22 July 2022. The movie will also feature Ashutosh Rana, Ronit Roy, and Saurabh Shukla, directed by Karan Malhotra
