Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have worked together in three films so far, ‘Student Of The Year’, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. However, according to a report in Deccan Chronicle, the two are no more keen on working with each other.
A source stated, “Varun has done around eight films and Alia has done nine films till date and they have three credits together. So they want to ensure that they take a break for a while from each other.” Well, this is surely a sad news for the fans.
If this report turns out to be true, we wonder what will happen to Karan Johar’s production venture ‘Shiddat’. Reportedly, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan were all set to be paired opposite each other for the fourth time in ‘Shiddat’ which was going to be directed by ‘2 States’ fame Abhishek Varman.
Few days ago, there were reports that along with Alia and Varun, ‘Shiddat’ will also star Sanjay Dutt, Sridevi, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur.
Currently, Varun Dhawan is busy with ‘Judwaa 2’ which is slated to release on September 29, 2017. The trailer of the movie will be launched on August 21, 2017. Apart from ‘Judwaa 2’, Varun has ‘October’ and ‘Sui Dhaaga’ in his kitty. While we are yet to know who will be starring opposite Varun in ‘October’, ‘Sui Dhaaga’ has Anushka Sharma opposite him.
