Varun calls Athiya Shetty as Drake’s ‘KIKI’. Read on to know why

Actress Athiya Shetty who had marked her Bollywood debut opposite Sooraj Pancholi in a Salman Khan Production ‘Hero’ has millions of followers on her social media accounts. But one particular name has caught the attention of many and that is of, international star and rapper Drake who is one of her ardent followers.

For the uninitiated, Drake’s song ‘In My Feelings’ from his 2018 album Scorpion has spread across the globe as ‘Kiki challenge’. Fans are taking the Kiki challenge and it has gone viral.

As per reports, Drake had spotted Athiya at a club in London and found her pretty and has connected with her on Instagram after that. He has been following the ‘Mubarakan’ actress for quite some time now and even leaves sweet comments on her posts.

Recently, Athiya took to her Instagram account to share a heartfelt birthday wish for dad Suniel Shetty. She had posted, “‪Happy birthday Papa. Thank you for always being so patient with me, keeping the faith when I forget to and never letting go of my hand. I hope to make you proud every single day. I love you. With a heart like yours, you deserve all the happiness the world has to offer.”

Canadian rapper Drake, who goes by the name of Champagne Papi on Instagram, commented on the post shared by Athiya Shetty. In the said post, he referred to Suniel Shetty as Legend.

Varun Dhawan teased Athiya about Drake and posted, “@athiyashetty who knew you were kiki”. The ‘Judwaa 2’ stars comment was noticed by the rapper who soon commented,“Titi do you love me? (Mubarakan Remix)” in response.
