Varun clarifies his statement on Alia which was misconstrued

The second season of Neha Dhupia’s chat show #NoFilterNeha has started and Varun Dhawan was the first guest on the show. He revealed many interesting things about his family, career, friends and even his girlfriend Natasha Dalal. He stated that he wants to protect his love Natasha from the media glares as she doesn’t belong to a filmy background. Next, when Neha asked Varun to give an advice to Alia Bhatt as he has worked with her in nearly three movies namely, ‘Student of the Year’, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, he said, “I don’t have any advice for her. I don’t want to talk about her. That is what she deserves. I think she has all pretty figured out at the moment” and  “Can’t tell her much, don’t want to talk about her! Now, this one statement was enough to let the world start discussing. Their off-screen chemistry has always been spoken about, so to hear such words from his mouth was a bit strange for every person. And that’s how various news agencies and portals covered the news of Varun’s statement on Alia Bhatt. One amongst them was TOI, who made a story and tagged Varun on Twitter. Now, Varun has replied to it on his Twitter page by writing, “Oh god this was said sarcastically in a fun way. All is well.” Here’s his tweet:

Oh, so this tweet from Varun definitely clears stories about his comments which were misconstrued. We wonder what is Alia Bhatt’s reply to this situation?

Talking about his movies, he will be seen in David Dhawan’s ‘Judwaa 2’ in a double role. The movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu and will be releasing on September 29, 2017.
