Varun Dhawan bashed for his clarification on his roka to GF Natasha Dalal; trolls say, “Good try but we’re smarter”

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding rumours have been doing the rounds since last year. But nothing has been confirmed yet by the couple. Yesterday, many Bollywood celebs including Varun Dhawan’s family were spotted at Natasha’s house and soon reports started flooding on social media that Varun and Natasha had a roka ceremony. Celebs like Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra and Punit Malhotra among others were spotted.

Soon after the reports of roka ceremony, Varun took to his Twitter handle to give clarification on it. He wrote, “Hey guys before u let ur imagination run wild it was a birthday party ? wanted to clarify before any false news is spread cheers”.

In the pictures, we see all the celebs in traditional outfits that led us to think that why would someone dress in ethnic attire for a birthday party. Well, after Varun gave the clarification, netizens started trolling him and most of them had the same question, “Why everyone was in traditional outfits if it was a birthday party?” Some even called him ‘Jhootha’.
