Varun Dhawan has proved his mettle with all the films he has done so far starting from ‘Student Of The Year’, ‘The Dulhaniya Series’ to ‘October’. With his latest release ‘Kalank’ as Zafar, he has surely captured hearts. With the variety of roles, he has managed to prove that he is a bonafide superstar. The actor is set to turn a year older on the 24th of April and wishes to turn so in style.
The actor flew off to Thailand with a bunch of his school time buddies on Sunday. As per the plan, he is set to celebrate his 32nd birthday in there. Apart from chilling and having fun, the actor plans to add on some skills during his week-long trip.
Sources reveal to Mumbai Mirror that, “Varun, who is a sports enthusiast, wanted to do something different for his birthday this time and settled on learning the Thai sport, which is also known as the ‘art of eight limbs’ as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins. The party will also explore beaches and the local cuisine.” Last year, his birthday had been a working day, He celebrated it on sets with his costars and some close friends. Sources also reveal that the sport is ‘Muay Thai’. Apart from this, the plan involves camping across the south-east-Asian country
After the actor is back in India, he shall get busy with his upcoming projects. He is working for ‘Street Dancer 3D’ directed by Prabhu Deva. Along with him, the film shall be starring Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi. He is also working on his next project opposite Sara Ali Khan. The film shall be directed by his father David Dhawan. This shall be a remake of an old movie titled ‘Coolie No 1’.
