Actor Varun Dhawan has already stepped into Salman Khan‘s shoes, as he kickstarted the shooting for ‘Judwaa 2’Â yesterday, i.e. February 3, the same day when the original ‘Judwaa’Â went on floors.
Now while director David Dhawan had started the shooting of the original with the song ‘Chalti Hai Kya Nau Se Barah’, the sequel has begun with Varun shooting for a Ganpati song and dance sequence.
The shooting kickstarted with David, Varun and their family along with producer Sajid Nadiadwala and others.

Music composer Sajid, from the Sajid-Wajid duo said, “It’s the opening song and it introduces Varun’s tapori character. We got musicians from Europe to arrange the score.The song will have many surprise elements.”
Choreographer Ganesh Acharya revealed, “The song will be shot over six days. Varun had been rehearsing for the number since a week. It is a typical Ganpati number with full of celebration and a lot of backup dancers.”
The original ‘Judwaa’ completes 20 years on February 7th and producer Sajid Nadiadwala will be hosting a lunch party for the case and crew of the 1997 blockbuster. Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Rambha and others will be grace the party with their presence.
