Varun Dhawan refutes engagement rumours with GF Natasha Dalal; says, “No ceremony has happened”

Varun Dhawan is one of the most bankable actors in Bollywood. With a string of hit films to his credit, Varun is enjoying a huge fan following. However, when Kareena Kapoor Khan somewhat confirmed that Varun is officially engaged to his longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal, that revelation broke hearts of Varun’s female fan base.

Interestingly, Varun has refuted these engagement rumours. The ‘Coolie No 1’ actor has clarified that though he is in a committed relationship with Natasha, however, they are not engaged.

On her talk show ‘What Women Want’, Kareena Kapoor addressed Natasha as Varun’s fiancee and that led to the reports of the couple being engaged. Now in an interview with Hindustan Times, Varun reacting to Kareena’s statement said, “Honestly, nothing has happened. No ceremony has happened but obviously, when I have been with a person for so many years, the commitment is there and then if one calls her anything of mine, that’s right only because she is. I am in a committed relationship and that means I am only with her and there is no one else.”

Refuting the rumours of his engagement, Varun said, “Nahi nahi, aisa kuch bhi nahi hua. For the past 18-20 days, I have been in a live-in relationship with myself only since I was quarantined due to Covid-19.”

Previously there were reports of Varun and Natasha opting for a destination wedding. Reacting to those reports, the ‘Kalank’ actor said, “I know there are rumours but there were no marriage plans and there can’t be because we also lost a family member due to Covid-19 this year. Now, I am like, ‘2020 khatam ho jaaye bas.’ Year-end hote hote I got Covid-19. You know, we decided to release Coolie No.1, on December 25 so that people can end the year on a happy note, and then they should keep watching it next year too.”

Well, now that Varun has refuted the engagement rumours we hope that whenever he decides to take the plunge with GF Natasha, he shares the good news with his fans and followers so that there are no more speculations.
