Varun Dhawan extends support to Dwayne Johnson on Black Adam being excluded from DCU phase 1

Varun Dhawan is an ardent fan of WWE wrestler and Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson is known to all. There have been several instances when the Bhediya star had expressed his admiration for the actor on social media. Varun has now extended his support to his favourite star as his film Black Adam is being excluded from DCU phase 1. Johnson penned a long note explaining that Black Adam is not a part of the first phase.  Varun joined the long list of fans to extend his support to the Hobbs & Shaw actor.

Dwayne Johnson penned a long note explaining that Black Adam is not a part of the first phase but the superhero has not been shown the exit door. Sharing the post on Instagram he captioned it as, “Black Adam⚡️ Appreciate all the support and love, it’s been very cool to see ??? We gave it our best shot, delivered a great movie and now we move on down the road.”

In the note, he wrote, “James Gunn and I connected, and Black Adam will not be in their first chapter of storytelling. However, DC and Seven Bucks have agreed to continue exploring the most valuable ways Black Adam can be utilized in future DC multiverse chapters. James and I have known each other for years and have always rooted for each other to succeed. It’s no different now, and I will always root for DC (and Marvel) to win and WIN BIG.”

Varun Dhawan supports Dwayne Johnson. He wrote, “With u big man,”

On the work front, Varun Dhawan was recently seen in the horror comedy Bhediya co-starring Kriti Sanon.  He will next be seen in Bawaal co-starring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The actor is all set for his OTT debut with the Russo Brothers’ directorial Citadel, the India version of which will be directed by Raj and DK.
