Varun Dhawan feels his THIS Student of the Year co-star is his competitor

The new season of Karan Johar’s popular chat show Koffee With Karan is back and how. The latest season too is filled with secrets tumbling out of the closets and some juicy gossip. The star guests on the show are not only manifesting romance but also revealing which actor do they consider as their competitor. Varun Dhawan who will be seen in the latest upcoming episode has also done the same.

The Jug Jugg Jeeyo co-stars Varun Dhawan and Anil Kapoor will be gracing the couch in the 11th episode of KWK. While Anil Kapoor revealed what made him feel younger, Varun Dhawan named the only actor he considers to be his competitor.

Varun Dhawan revealed why his competition is not restricted to actors alone. He said, “The only person I feel evenly closely competitive with is Alia Bhatt“.

He added, “As a society, we also need to start accepting that our female leads can also be bigger than heroes. With Alia Bhatt’s smashing big openings, as a male actor, I seek inspiration from that and aspire to do it too as a performer.”

‘Koffee with Karan 7’ airs exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar, with new episodes dropping every Thursday. The eleventh episode will stream on September 15, at 12 AM on Disney+ Hotstar.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan will next be seen in Bhediya. The horror comedy has him reuniting with his Dilwale co-star Kriti Sanon. Bhediya is scheduled for release on 25 November 2022.

Varun also has Bawaal alongside Janhvi Kapoor.  Also Russo Brothers’ Citadel alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
