Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer Jug Jugg Jeeyo’s second schedule called off?

The nation is fighting through the gruesome second wave of Covid-19 and the cases are multiplying rapidly over time. Along with work in all fields, the entertainment industry has also come to a halt. The Covid restrictions have brought the filming of movies to a standstill. Raj Mehta’s directorial Jug Jugg Jeeyo is also facing a hurdle due to the pandemic. The Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer’s Chandigarh schedule had come to a halt in December for two weeks after Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor and director Mehta had tested positive for Covid-19.

Now, with the issued Janta curfew the movie has hit a roadblock again. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Raj Mehta had fixed the second schedule of Jug Jugg Jeeyo in April this year with 60 per cent of the movie yet to film. But, due to the current situation and restriction, the team and crew have no other way left apart from delaying the Mumbai schedule.

Apart from Varun and Kiara, Jug Jugg Jeeyo also stars Anil Kapoor and Prajakta Kohli. Jug Jugg Jeeyo will also mark Neetu Singh’s comeback on the silver screen. She was last seen in ‘Besharam’ that released in 2013.
