Coronavirus has spread like wildfire all over the world. A cure for this pandemic is still not found and hence it is absolutely vital to undertake the prescribed precautionary measures. Many countries have undertaken complete lockdown and people are advised to be in self-quarantine. India is one such nation and Varun Dhawan is one such citizen who’s asking fans to stay indoors with a catchy rap song.
Bollywood celebrities have been urging their fans to follow the lockdown religiously and not wander out of their homes until necessary. Varun Dhawan is also doing his bit of creating awareness but his own unique way.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Wednesday, during which he announced a 21-day lockdown across the country to control the Coronavirus outbreak. Varun took to his Instagram to share a rap song of himself that also features a clip from Narendra Modi’s speech.
In the rap, Varun emphasizes on the lockdown and urges his fans to stay indoors. The caption read, “#LOCKDOWN ?2️⃣1️⃣?? #vararaps Stay indoors stay safe Thank you @tanishk_bagchi @ericpillai @dipraj_jadhav_edits @go_addy.(sic)”

Bollywood celebs also applauded Varun for his initiative. Arjun Kapoor wrote, “I just want to know who the cameraman is… (sic)“, Siddhant Chaturvedi wrote, “Ha ha! Cheer-phaad “Homie” ? (sic)“, Badshah wrote, “Let them know varun da1 (sic).”
Meanwhile, on the work front Varun will be seen next in ‘Coolie No 1’ in which he will star opposite Sara Ali Khan who will play his lady love. The movie was set to hit the theatres on May 1 but its release might be pushed due to the coronavirus lockdown.
