Varun Dhawan to be a part of ‘Dil’ remake?

If sources are to be believed, then actor Varun Dhawan may be a part of ‘Dil’ remake. Director Indra Kumar who had helmed the original way back in the 1990’s will also be relaunching his daughter Shweta with this movie. She was last seen in ‘Super Nani’ in 2014.

A source close to the movie told a daily, “Initially, buzz was that a newcomer will be cast for the role. But now, Indra is thinking of approaching Varun and Pulkit. It was Shweta who suggested Varun and Pulkit’s names for the lead role. She is keen to have one of them on board. It all depends on their dates, so nothing has been finalised yet. There was a time when even Tiger Shroff was being considered for the role.”

Varun Dhawan is currently busy with his action-packed ‘Dishoom’ that also features John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles and will be releasing on July 29, 2016.
