The outbreak of Coronavirus has made the whole world succumb to isolation and because of that, the economy of the world has gone for a toss. Due to that, the daily wage workers and other professionals have been facing an immense crisis. Amidst this pandemic, after contributing a total of Rs. 55 Lakhs to PM-Cares Fund and Maharashtra Cheif Minister relief fund Varun Dhawan has now pledged to provide free meals to the frontline workers, doctors and medical staff.

Varun took to his Instagram and revealed that he commits to provide meals for the poor who are without homes and jobs. He said he had a deep admiration for those who have risked their lives for saving the ones who are affected. Varun pledged to provide meals to medical staff and doctors as well.

He revealed that all this will be done under Taj Public Service Welfare Trust. The caption read, “This is a long battle and we have to fight it together. Finding solutions is the only way forward. @ratantata #tatatrust”

Varun had announced about his donations on his Twitter earlier.
