Varun Dhawan has to say THIS on Mumbai’s Coronavirus situation

In India, the Coronavirus variant, Omicron cases are increasing day by day. Many Bollywood celebrities have been testing positive for the virus. Recently, Arjun Kapoor had also contracted the virus, now, Varun Dhawan, who is Kapoor’s closest friend reacted to the current Coronavirus situation in Mumbai. He also shared a funny note on his social media.

Varun took to his Instagram story and wrote, “If you are from Mumbai and your friends are not Covid positive, then you don’t have friends.”

Meanwhile, recently Varun had sent out good wishes to Arjun for his recovery.  Arjun dropped the video with the caption, “Thank you 2021. Coming thru 2022 #WorkInProgress.” To which, Varun commented, “get well soon” in the comments section.

Along with Arjun, his sister Anshula Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and her husband Karan Boolani also tested positive for Coronavirus. Currently, they are quarantining at their residence. Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora, Sonu Nigam, Mrunal Thakur, Nora Fatehi also contracted the virus.

On the work front, Varun was last seen in the 2020 comedy film, ‘Coolie No. 1,’ which is a remake of the 1995 film of the same name, the film also starred Sara Ali Khan and Paresh Rawal in the lead role, directed by Varun’s father David Dhawan. The movie released on Amazon Prime Videos on 25 December, during Christmas.

Next, the actor will be seen next in ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar. The film will also star Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles alongside Prajakta Koli and Manish Paul. The film is scheduled for release on 24 June 2022. Dhawan will also be reuniting with his ‘Dilwale’ co-star Kriti Sanon for ‘Bhediya’ which is set to hit the cinema halls on 25 November 2022.
