Varun Dhawan reveals his relative tested positive for Covid-19; says, “It’s very close to home right now”

Coronavirus has brought the world to a standstill. Even though most countries are practising self-isolation, the number of victims is still increasing every day. No one is immune to this virus as recently, actor Varun Dhawan made the shocking revelation that the virus is quite close to his home as one of his relative in the US has tested positive for Covid-19.

Varun recently interacted with Coronavirus positive Zoa Morani in an Insta live session. During this chat, Varun made the shocking revelation that one of his relatives in the US has tested positive for the coronavirus. The ‘Badlapur’ actor said, “It’s very close to home right now. Until it happens to someone you know, you don’t take it seriously and understand the gravity of it.”

Also, Varun was seen discussing Zoa’s health and how she’s holding up after being affected with Covid-19 .Zoa said that it all started with a “very mild fever” around March 20. The actresses currently admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Her sister Shaza was discharged after two of her Covid-19 tests came negative.

Meanwhile, amidst this pandemic, Varun has donated a total of Rs. 55 Lakhs to PM-Cares Fund and Maharashtra Cheif Minister relief fund. The actor has now pledged to provide free meals to the frontline workers, doctors and medical staff.
