Varun Dhawan leaves Kriti Sanon shocked as he reveals she was supposed to do a vampire film

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya’s trailer was released today. The Bhediya trailer has received a good response. Varun and Kriti recently attended the trailer launch event in the city. Varun Dhawan left his Bhediya co-star Kriti Sanon shocked as he revealed she was supposed to do a vampire film.

At the event, Kriti was asked if she would like to play the role of a creature or a horror character, and she was quoted saying by Bollywood Hungama, “Mere andar sirf real life mein jaanwar aata hai, screen pe nahin aata.”

Varun pulled Kriti’s leg as he asked Bhediya producer Dinesh Vijan, “Wasn’t there a script you had run by her?” To this, Dinesh said, “We were going to make a vampire film with Kriti. Lekin fir woh Bhediya mein aagayi. Toh woh uss film mein nahin ho saki.”

Kriti expressed her shock as she said, “Yeh (Varun) khud stories leak karta hain.” Adding to this, Dinesh joked, “Varun Dhawan constantly wants controversies. He wants his stories to track and he wants his trailer to reach out far and wide. Hence, humne aapko inside scoop de diya hai of a non-announced film.”

Kriti is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood. She made her debut in Bollywood with the action film ‘Heropanti’ and later went on to star in films such as Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi, Mimi among others. Before Bhediya, Varun and Kriti worked together in Dilwale.

Bhediya is directed by Amar Kaushik. It is slated to release on 25 November, 2022. Varun shared the trailer of Bhediya on Instagram and captioned it, “इस कहानी का नाम है #Bhediya!?? Presenting the official trailer of India’s first creature-comedy, Bhediya! In cinemas on 25^th Nov in 2D & 3D.”
