Varun Dhawan says it was ‘physically exhausting’ to transform into Bhediya- Watch BTS video

Varun Dhawan delivered a terrific performance in Amar Kaushik’s Bhediya. Varun, who plays a werewolf in Bhediya, won hearts with his act. On Thursday, Varun took to Instagram and shared a BTS video, which showed his transformational experience of becoming a bhediya. The actor called bhediya ‘the most challenging character’. In his caption, Varun thanked makers for this opportunity.

In the video, Amar Kaushik can be heard saying in Hindi, “Varun did not look like a Bhaskar. So the beard he had kept during the pandemic, I told him to keep it, and also to not remove his chest hair. For this part, Varun removed that star tag out his system and I could only see Bhaskar at the end of the day.”

Varun opened up about transforming into Bhediya and how difficult it was for him. The actor said, “There are no dialogues, and so much physical acting involved. It was exhausting. I hope people will say Amar Kaushik has been able to extract a different Varun, one which they hadn’t seen before.”

He shared the video along with the caption, “Playing Bhediya has been by far the most challenging character I have ever played. The physical exhaustion I used to feel post the transformational scenes I can’t explain. Thank you @amarkaushik @maddockfilms @pvijan @officialstudios #dineshvijan for this opportunity. To my audience thank u for the (heart emoji).”

Fans showered love on him in the comment section.

Bhediya also starred Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee, and Deepak Dobriyal among others. On the other hand, Bollywood Bubble gave Varun and Kriti starrer 4 stars.
