Varun Dhawan recently revealed that he will be making his debut on OTT with a ‘big’ show. There have been reports that Varun will mark his digital debut with the Indian spin-off of the Priyanka Chopra starrer series Citadel which also stars Richard Madden.
Recently talking with the media, Varun said without giving away much details, “I love it (the platform). Something big and interesting is coming. But it won’t be released this year. I am excited about it.”
Further talking about his other projects, Varun said, “My father has been working for so many years and has made 45-46 films and he had to sit at home. We all had to (due to the pandemic). I am much younger, we have to realise that our lives can’t only be this, we need to have other personal growth. Films are back and I have ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ and ‘Bhediya’ coming. We have had a great time working on these two films.”

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan recently announced his next project with Janhvi Kapoor titled Bawaal. Announcing the movie, Varun wrote on his social media account, “Ab hoga #BAWAAL! So excited and grateful to announce my next with the amazing duo, #SajidNadiadwala & @niteshtiwari22 along with @janhvikapoor Can’t wait to see you in theatres on 7th April 2023 #goodfriday(sic)”

On the work front, Varun will be seen next in Jugg Jugg Jeeyo which also stars Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani and others. Varun will also be seen in Bhediya which also has Kriti Sanon.
