Actor Varun Dhawan is super excited for his latest release ‘Judwaa 2’ which hit the screens today. As the movie is a remake of the 1997 classic comedy ‘Judwaa’, he shared a picture with the original ‘Judwaa’ star, Salman Khan last yesterday. Sharing a picture with Salman Khan on Twitter, he wrote, “Im not influenced from any Hollywood actor but influenced by @BeingSalmanKhan. Thank you for being my raja and prem. the film is urs now.” [sic]

He also wrote, “I genuinely hope I can make people laugh and smile and just enjoy. We need to learn to laugh on ourselves and not be scared of judgement. So I did this film to do that this is an Indian genre not something influenced from the west.” [sic]

Apart from Varun Dhawan, ‘Judwaa 2’ also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. Recently, in an exclusive conversation with us, Taapsee had spoken about her character by saying, “My character is totally revamped. So, if you are going to watch with the perspective of what Rambha did, you’re going to be really disappointed. Especially, when it comes to girls, they have changed so much in the last 20 years that they don’t behave, talk, do things the same way anymore. ‘Judwaa 2’ is written and directed by David Dhawan and releases today in cinema halls.
