Watch: Varun Dhawan gives the best tribute to Karan Johar on Gurupurnima

Varun Dhawan is considered as one of the most sought after actors of Bollywood today. The star has sure come a long way since his debut with ‘Student Of The Year’ in the year 2012. The film directed by Karan Johar also starred Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

It is a known fact that all these three stars, Alia, Varun and Sidharth, consider Karan as their ‘Guru’ in every sense of the word. The director-producer not only helped these three in giving a huge head start in the industry, but has also been a helping hand when it comes to taking decisions about their upcoming films.

Being a support system that Karan has been behind Varun from the start of his career, the actor had to dedicate a day like Guru Purnima to him.

Varun took to Instagram to share a boomerang video of touching Karan’s feet and giving him the best tribute that anyone could. He captioned the video as, “Happy guru Purnima”

On the work front, Varun will next be seen in ‘Sui Dhaaga’ opposite Anushka Sharma. ‘Sui Dhaada: Made In India’ will see Varun play a tailor, who is called Mauji in the film, and Anushka, who is called Mamta, is an embroidery artist. The Sharat Katariya directed film is inspired by the Make In India campaign. The film hope to infused a sense of pride among the youth in the traditional Indian craftsmanship.
