Veteran actress Jaya Prada’s mother Neelaveni passes away in Hyderabad

Veteran actress and BJP MP Jayaprada’s mother Neelaveni has reportedly breathed her last on Tuesday evening in Hyderabad. She was 81. She was reportedly been suffering from age-related ailments for the past few weeks and was receiving treatment at the Continental Hospital in Hyderabad. Jaya Prada who was apparently in Delhi rushed to Hyderabad after hearing the sad news. She will be there to attend the last rites of her mother. Many celebs and dignitaries poured condolences on social media.

Jaya Prada was one of the legendary actress not only in Bollywood, but also in Telugu film industry. She completed her primary school in Telugu medium Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh and was trained in various other art forms before making her entry into films. She was one of the most beautiful actresses of that time and was one of the highest-paid actress in the 1970s and ’80s. The actress cum politician starred in over 300 films in eight languages.

Jaya Prada’s mother Neelaveni played a great role in shaping the former’s film career. She was very close to her mother and her death is a great loss to the entire family.
