Veteran director Rajkumar Kohli, father of Armaan Kohli passes away due to heart attack

Veteran director and father of actor Armaan Kohli, Rajkumar Kohli is no more. Rajkumar Kohli passed away in the wee hours of morning due to heart attack. His last rites will be held today.

According to News18, Rajkumar Kohli had gone to take a shower in the morning when he didn’t come out of the bath for some time. If reports are to be believed, his son Armaan broke the door when he found his father collapsed on the floor. The veteran director was then immediately rushed to the hospital, but sadly he was declared dead.

It is a difficult time for the Kohli family. Rajkumar Kohli is now survived by his wife Nishi and two sons Gogi and Armaan. Armaan, who is an actor, shared a close bond with his father. His Instagram account is filled with photos of his father.

Rajkumar Kohli was best known for directing Bollywood movies like Dulla Bhatti, Lootera, Nagin, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani, Kahaani Hum Sab Ki, Badle Ki Aag starring Armaan, and Naukar Biwi Ka Raaj Tilak among others.

For the uninitiated, Armaan made his debut as a leading actor with his father’s movie Virodhi. Post that, he was to star in Deewana co-starring actress Divya Bhakti, but walked out of the film. Later, Shah Rukh Khan came onboard. Over the years, he has starred in movies like Dushman Zamana, Anaam, Aulad Ke Dushman, Qahar, and Jaani Dushman. In 2023, he entered the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 17. Armaan Kohli was last seen in Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which released in 2015.
