Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri to share screen in untitled movie, Karan Johar says ‘bringing together powerhouses of talent’

A fresh pair is now gearing up to impress the audience as actors Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri will be coming together for an untitled film. On Friday, filmmaker Karan Johar took to his Instagram account and dropped an official statement, announcing that Vicky and Triptii will be collaborating together for the first along with Ammy Virk, 

As per his Instagram post, the untitled next is directed by Anand Tiwari and is bankrolled by Dharma Productions. Announcing this massive news, KJo mentioned that they are bringing three powerhouses of talent together for the film. Though KJo didn’t reveal the name of the movie, it is scheduled to release on August 25 this year.

Karan wrote, “We’re Bringing together the three powerhouses of talent – Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri led by the deft vision of director Anand Tiwari. Look out for the blast coming your way as this film makes its way to the theatres this August 25 (sic)“.

Fans are quite elated with the new collaboration. Among many, one fan commented, “Lovely starcast. Vicky has already proved his mettle as an actor and Tripti was super good in Qala. Ammy Paji ka jawab nahi. It will be an interesting project.” While another one said, “It’s great to see punjabi cinema talent being spotted by Bollywood mainstream cinema.” There was another one who said, “vicky and tripti waiting to see first time togather.”

Vicky was last seen in Govinda Naam Mera which received mixed responses from the audience whereas Triptii received rave responses for her stellar performance in Qala. On the other hand, Ammy Virk is a popular actor and singer in the Punjabi film industry. He made his debut in Hindi films with Bhuj: The Pride of India and was later seen in Kabir Khan’s 83. This will be his third Bollywood film.
