Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw always had the nation’s back
In a fresh new promo that recently dropped, it perfectly portrays how Sam Bahadur always was a protector of its nation and was a step ahead. The promo begins with Fatima Sana Shaikh as Indira Gandhi being in the midst of her speech when the news of war comes in, which leaves Fatima unaffected. When asked how she did not not have any expression on her face or she was not tensed about it, she reveals ‘Sam ne likh ke diya tha ke jung kab shuru hogi’.
Sam had informed Indira Gandhi that he would be prepared for war by 4th December and interestingly, Indian Air bases were attacked by Pakistan on the night of 3rd December. This particular scene perfectly portrays how Sam was an impressive strategist that helped his nation stay safe and secure.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Sam Bahadur also includes a stunning star cast of Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The movie released on 1st December and has already crossed Rs.25 crores within 3 days.
Bollywood Bubble gave 3.5/5 stars to Sam Bahadur. A part of our review read, “Meghna Gulzar picked an untold story of an Indian Army Officer who becomes the first Field Marshal. Since it is not a known story, Meghna poetically tells her story.”
