Vicky Kaushal becomes Kanhaiya as he participates in dahi handi with fans on Janmashtami

On September 7, the nation celebrated the festival of Krishna Janmashtami with fun and frolic. And Vicky Kaushal made the festival a little more fun by releasing his song Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja from The Great Indian Family just a few days before the festival. And not just that, he even went ahead and celebrated the festival amongst his fans.

Vicky went around in the city on Janmashtami and joined in the celebrations at different places. The actor even participated in dahi handi with the fans. Not just that, he danced with them on his latest chartbuster which is just made for this festival. Sporting a heavy bearded look in traditional wear, Vicky looked breathtakingly dapper. And the excitement and smile on his face just added to the whole appeal.

He seems so in his zone and happy as he shared a video from his Janmashtami celebrations. Along with it, he wrote, “Dahi handi… baarish… aur meri Great Indian Family ka pyaar! Janmashtami happy ho gayi! Milte hain 22nd Sept aapke nazdeeki cinema gharo mein.” Vicky had also earlier shared pictures with many little Krishnas and it looked so adorable. The actor indeed had the best Janmashtami ever, that too with the cutest Kanhaiyas out there.

The Great Indian Family release date

TGIF stars Vicky opposite Manushi Chhillar. The film is a romantic comedy drama and also features an ensemble cast. It includes Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Srishti Dixit and Bhuvan Arora. The Great Indian Family is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, produced by Yash Raj Films and has a release date of September 22, 2023.
