Vicky Kaushal’s most awaited next ‘Bhoot: The Haunted Ship’s teaser just got out and it is really spooky. ‘Bhoot’ is Karan Johar’s Dharma Production’s first-ever horror film. But, looks like the film’s poster lacks originality as Twitteratti can’t keep calm over its uncanny resemblance with a Malayalam film ‘Jallikattu’s poster.
‘Jallikattu’ is a Malayalam movie that is based on the life of a butcher who faces a lot of trouble when the buffalo he was supposed to slaughter goes missing and causes chaos in the village. Interestingly, one of the posters of the movie looks exactly similar to that of Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Bhoot’.
Twitterati bashed the makers of ‘Bhoot’ for shamelessly copying ‘Jallikattu’s poster. One user wrote, “Will Bollywood ever think something original? shamelessly copied poster of Jallikattu #bhoot.” Another poked fun and wrote, “#Bhoot poster… Wow…What an original thought ??#jalikattu”

Bollywood makers have always taken inspiration from down South and Hollywood flicks. So we won’t be surprised at all if they call this incident as a coincidence.
‘Bhoot’ also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana. Directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. This horror-thriller will hit the silver screens on February 21.
