‘Bhoot: The Haunted Ship’ teaser- This Vicky Kaushal starrer looks run-of-the-mill horror-thriller

Dharma Production’s first horror film ‘Bhoot: The Haunted Ship‘s teaser is finally out. Apparently based on a real-life incident, the film tells the story of a couple on an abandoned ship lying static on a beach. However, in the teaser, we see Vicky Kaushal alone. The 58-seconds long teaser fails to show you anything which you haven’t seen before.

The teaser opens with Vicky alone in an abandoned ship trying to follow a trail of hand impressions on the wall. And as he follows it, he ends up in a room with his face drawn on a wall and soon few hands engulf him in the wall. Now, this kind of a scene we have seen several times in Hollywood horror thrillers. Hence it lacked any novelty factor for me.

The film’s trailer will be out on Monday (February 3), so let’s hope at least that lives up to our expectations. Also starring Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana, ‘Bhoot’ is directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh.

Bankrolled by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan this horror-thriller will hit the silver screens on February 21.
