Vicky Kaushal roped in for yet another biopic; looks totally unrecognizable as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw

The ‘How’s The Josh’ actor, Vicky Kaushal is back in uniform to treat his fans with yet another biopic on Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. The actor, who has been roped in for Meghna Gulzar’s next directorial, looks totally unrecognizable in the first look picture from the film.

In the first look picture shared by Vicky Kaushal himself, on his Instagram handle, he looks sincere in the uniform, with a slight smile on his face and we must say that the ‘Sanju’ actor has recreated the look of Sam Manekshaw so aptly. Check out the picture right here.

Meghna Gulzar who had previously worked with Vicky Kaushal for ‘Raazi’, informed Mumbai Mirror, “We wanted to finish the edit on the draft first before reaching out to an actor. One day, I just called up Vicky, who happened to be nearby and invited him over for a cold coffee. We had a conversation about Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. He was about to fly to the US and said that he doesn’t want to read the script and would just do the film. But I insisted that he read it and call me.”

On the professional front, Vicky Kaushal has quite some amazing projects coming up. The actor has been shooting in London for Sardar Udham Singh’s biopic. He is also gearing up to begin shooting for Karan Johar’s directorial ‘Takht’ and KJo’s production venture ‘Bhoot-Part One’. There is also talks of Vicky Kaushal doing another film with ‘URI’ director Aditya Dhar.
