Vicky Kaushal impresses with his transformation as Sam Manekshaw in the new poster of Sam Bahadur ahead of trailer release

Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur is one of the most-awaited films this year. On Monday, Vicky took to his Instagram and shared a new poster of Sam Bahadur featuring himself as Sam Manekshaw. He also announced the trailer release date of the upcoming film.

In the poster, Vicky as Sam Manekshaw, the former Chief of the Indian Army is looking very serious. He is seen wearing an Army uniform and walking while his soldiers are standing in the line. Vicky shared the poster on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “यह कहानी है about the man who dedicated his life to the Indian Army, to the nation. Trailer Out Tomorrow! #Samबहादुर in cinemas 1.12.2023. #SamBahadur #SamIsHere.”

The teaser of Sam Bahadur released in October and it received a good response. The teaser gave a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming film. For the unversed, Sam Bahadur is based on the life of India’s First Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. He was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal and his military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war led to the creation of Bangladesh.

Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh are also a part of the film. While Sanya plays the role of Vicky’s wife Sillo Manekshaw, Fatima will be seen as the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Sam Bahadur is slated to release on 1^st December, 2023. Vicky Kaushal starrer will be clashing with Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal at the box office.

On the other hand, post Sam Bahadur, Vicky will be seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki which releases on 22nd December.
