Vicky Kaushal had 3 sleepless nights during The Great Indian Family shoot, here’s why

Vicky Kaushal starrer The Great Indian Family is one of the most talked-about films right now. Vicky plays Bhajan Kumar in his upcoming film. Recently, Vicky treated fans with the first song titled Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja from The Great Indian Family. The actor’s dance moves won hearts of his fans. And now, in an interview, Vicky opened up about shooting for TGIF’s Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja song. The actor revealed that he shot for the song for 3 nights continuously. Vicky added that he was sleepless.

The actor shared, “Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaj is my entry sequence in TGIF. A massive set was built that replicated a heartland town in India. The environment was infectious, there were countless dancers and crews who added to the vibe. We have constantly shot for 3 whole nights! Yes, I was sleepless, we all were but we were loving the vibe.”

The actor added, “YRF really mounted Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja to showcase the popularity of Bhajan Kumar in his hometown. My character is a singing icon in his town and the people of this town adore him.” Vicky further went on to add that he had an ‘amazing time shooting for the song’. “I hope it becomes the song people listen to this Janmashtami,” added Vicky.

Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja music video gave a glimpse of Vicky’s character in TGIF. Undoubtedly, Vicky as Bhajan Kumar is already winning hearts. Apart from Vicky, The Great Indian Family also stars Manushi Chhillar, Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Sadiya Siddiqui, Srishti Dixit, Alka Amin, and Bhuvan Arora.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films, The Great Indian Family will release on 22^nd September, 2023.
