Vicky Kaushal to be paired opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’?

Karan Johar’s upcoming film, which is titled ‘Takht’ is getting bigger by the day. We had also informed you about Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan being roped in with Ranveer Singh for the upcoming film. Besides these actors, there is one more actor who is supposed to join the stellar star cast and we have an update regarding the same.

According to a report on BollywoodLife, Vicky Kaushal has been approached for the role and if everything falls in place, he will be a part of ‘Takht ‘. A source told the website,”They are keen on casting Vicky in the magnum opus that will feature a star cast of two-hero and three-heroines. And given that Karan has already worked with him in ‘Lust Stories’, it is looking like a possibility.”

Reportedly, Karan Johar is planning a great historical drama which will be based on the Mughal dynasty. The story will revolve around the life and chronicles of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz’s three kids.

As per our source, Ranveer and Kareena will play siblings in the film. A source revealed to us that Ranveer will play Dara Shukoh and Bebo will be playing the role of Jahanara Begum. Alia will be seen as Ranveer’s wife in the film but nothing is confirmed as yet. The film is going to be based on sibling rivalry and power politics.
