Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has praised Chhaava for its historical accuracy, stating that the film does not distort facts. Recently, the Mumbai Dabbawala Association urged the Chief Minister to declare the film tax-free in Maharashtra. Additionally, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) sent a letter to Fadnavis requesting the same.
