‘Chhaava’ Vicky Kaushal visits Raigad fort on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti to pay tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

As he takes on the role of ‘Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’, Vicky marked Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti with a special visit to Raigad Fort, where he paid tribute to the legendary Maratha warrior and shared the moment on social media.

It was my first time here and there couldn’t have been a better time to come and take blessings from Maharaj. आप सभी को छत्रपति शिवाजी जयंती की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ! जय जिजाऊ, जय शिवराय, जय शंभू |” In the pictures, Vicky is seen paying tribute to the statue of Shivaji Maharaj and is also shown tying a turban on a young girl.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has praised Chhaava for its historical accuracy, stating that the film does not distort facts. The movie has been receiving rave reviews from both fans and celebrities, with box office collections soaring. Recently, the Mumbai Dabbawala Association urged the Chief Minister to declare the film tax-free in Maharashtra. Additionally, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) sent a letter to Fadnavis requesting the same.
