Since Coronavirus is highly contagious and has been spreading like wildfire all over the world. A lockdown has been imposed in the country and everyone is asked to stay at home and not step out unless necessary. Recently, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ actor was fallen victim to rumours that said that he had broken the lockdown rules and was reprimanded by the Mumbai Police.
Vicky has finally reacted to these rumours. The actor took to his Twitter to shut down these rumours calling them baseless. He also tagged Mumbai Police’s official Twitter handle informing them about the same. The tweet read, “There are baseless rumours suggesting that I broke the lockdown and got pulled up by the cops. I’ve not stepped out of my house since the lockdown started. I request people not to heed the rumours. @MumbaiPolice.”

A while back ‘Dabangg’ actress Sonakshi Sinha had also fallen prey to such rumours when she was slammed by filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri for being papped while she was at a shoot. But the actress made sure to set the record straight. She even asked Mumbai Police to intervene, in order to stop people from spreading ‘fake news’ amidst the Coronavirus crisis.
