Vicky Kaushal reunites with Karan Johar for yet another interesting project post Govinda Naam Mera success

Right from their first film together, the professional association between Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal has always been a memorable one. From Lust Stories to Raazi to Bhoot and now Govinda Naam Mera – the duo has given successful outings. And, once again, Vicky Kaushal is all set to reunite with Karan Johar for another project.

After the massive success of Shashank Khaitan directorial Govinda Naam Mera, Vicky will be seen in another promising project backed by Dharma Productions. Their next collaboration too looks very promising and also features Qala actress Triptii Dimri.

Slated to release on July 28, 2023 – the currently untitled film co-starring Triptii Dimri is directed by Anand Tiwari. Prime Video recently announced that it will co-produce a theatrical release with Dharma Productions and Anand Tiwari and Amritpal Bindra’s Leo Media Collective.

It was about a few months ago when news of Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri’s collaboration for a project made headlines. The duo was seen shooting for seemingly a song track. Farah Khan also shared some photos and videos from the shoot.

Meanwhile, talking about Govinda Naam Mera, Vicky has been receiving rave reviews ever since it was dropped on Disney+Hotstar. The actor featured in the Shashank Khaitan directorial alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani. The movie also saw Dayanand Shetty, Amey Wagh, and Sayaji Shinde among others.

On the work front, Karan Johar is gearing up for his directorial comeback Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The filmmaker was busy shooting for the movie, about a few months ago. It features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.

Vicky on the other hand has the film Sam Bahadur with Meghna Gulzar and another movie with Laxman Utekar.
